The clubhouse is old, but I like it. They have a great pro-shop, and ample room to sit around and drink beer.
Walk or Ride?
I prefer walking this course. Its a scenic course which makes for a nice walk…..until you bogey and easy hole!
Commentary
Much like Indian tree, this course lacks many of the new design principles. However, this course is made challenging by native grass. Most of the holes are flanked by native grass, which can swallow your ball. The superintendent has really done a great job over the past couple of years. The course is looking great! The staff at Applewood is second to none. I host a golf tourney every year here and they really know how to take care of tournaments. If you are looking for a fun round, Applewood is the place to play.
